Contemporary questions are not difficult because they lack a quick answer; they are difficult because health, risk, consumer and industry claims need to be returned to their evidence and context. The two current articles on tea and health and common myths respectively examine the strength of human evidence, dose and individual differences, and correct overextended causal claims[1][2].
One question can involve raw-material safety, processing, brewing, intake and regulation at once. Use this chapter as a cross-site point for judgment: ask where the evidence comes from, whom it applies to and what its risk boundary is before deciding how it informs a choice[1][2][3].
